The best photographs are rarely the technically correct ones. They are the ones where something went wrong in exactly the right way.

A new lens is exciting for a week. Then the shine wears off and you are hunting for the next thing. You never arrive.

Manual is supposed to slow you down. Set up the right way, it is the fastest way to shoot on the street.

Underexposure kills film frames. Shadows collapse and nothing in post can bring them back.

It started as a constraint. Now it is one of the clearest decisions I make every time I pick up a camera.

The only digital camera that shoots like a film camera. Two and a half years later, I still mean that.

Three years in, it is still the camera I reach for most. Not because I have not tried anything else.
